The Doraleh desalination plant, located in the capital of Djibouti, is part of the PEPER project (Potable Water Production through Desalination and Renewable Energies) promoted by the European Commission as part of the community initiative "Sustainable Energy for All".
The construction of the plant, and its subsequent operation for 5 years, will help to improve the supply of drinking water in the region by incorporating the 22,500 m3 per day that the desalination plant will produce into the distribution system, benefiting a population of approximately 200,000 inhabitants.
The report explains in depth what the project consists of, explained by Tedagua's Engineering Manager.
