TEDAGUA awarded the "ENERGY EFFICIENCY IMPROVEMENT THROUGH THE INSTALLATION OF PRESSURE EXCHANGERS" subsidy.
Project undertaken under the energy efficiency and savings subsidies for energy efficiency actions in desalination plants, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and managed by IDEA, financed by the national energy efficiency fund.
The project's goal is to improve the energy efficiency of the water desalination process through the installation of reject stream energy recovery equipment or brine stream pressure recovery equipment (11 units), partially conveying it to the reverse osmosis seawater input flow, attaining energy savings of 34.59 toe per year.
In order to carry out this project, the Técnicas de Desalinización de Aguas S.A. company has received aid under the energy efficiency and savings subsidies for energy efficiency actions in desalination plants, co-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and managed by IDEA, financed by the national energy efficiency fund, with the purpose of attaining a cleaner and more sustainable economy.
