Tedagua enters the Romanian water market

TEDAGUA has just been awarded its first contract in Romania, thereby culminating a period of almost two years in which it has been strongly committed to entering the water market of a country immersed in a clear process of modernising its infrastructures.
This first contract was signed with Ecoaqua, the company responsible for managing the entire water cycle of the region of Calarasi and entails an investment of 17,661,886.39 leis (some 4.3 million euro) and an execution term of 19 months.
It consists of designing and building an underwater harnessing intake and a floating pumping station in the river Danube, a drinking water treatment plant (DWTP) for the city of Chiciu with a nominal capacity of 35,000 cubic meters day and a distribution network of 6.5 km.
