Tedagua ends the year 2024 by renewing its Environmental Management and carbon and water footprint calculation certificates with AENOR. This significant achievement reflects the company's commitment to sustainability, responsible water resource management, and minimizing the environmental impact of its activities.

In line with its responsibility and commitment to mitigating climate change, Tedagua has recently calculated its carbon footprint, carrying out a verification process of the direct and indirect emissions derived from its activities. In addition to measuring the impact of the company's activities on the environment, Tedagua's commitment to sustainability has included developing an emissions improvement plan with specific short- and medium-term actions, as well as registering in the carbon footprint, compensation, and CO2 absorption projects registry enabled by the Ministry for Ecological Transition.

In the business context, the corporate water footprint is an indicator of the consumption and pollution of freshwater caused by construction and operation activities, both directly and indirectly, considering the entire supply chain. Tedagua, aiming to lead environmental innovation, has developed a methodology to calculate its water footprint according to the Water Footprint Network (WFN), the most internationally recognized universal system.

Renewing the Environmental Management certificate demonstrates the continuous commitment to sustainability and environmental protection, ensuring that business practices remain responsible and eco-friendly, reducing resource consumption and minimizing environmental impact.

The certification award ceremony was attended by Silvia Ruano, head of Tedagua's Environmental Department, who received the distinction from the director of AENOR in Madrid, Enrique Mejía Martín-Peñasco.

These certifications add value and differentiation to Tedagua in the market, strengthening its reputation and commitment in a world where climate change increasingly affects natural resources and efficient water management. Once again, Tedagua reaffirms its commitment to the environment and a more sustainable future for all.
