The Urziceni DWTP is awarded to TEDAGUA
Ecoaqua, the company responsible for managing the integral water cycle of the region of Calarasi (Romanía), again placed its trust in Tedagua by awarding it the contract for the design and construction of the water intake, extension and rehabilitation of the drinking water treatment plant in Urziceni. Through this activity, the quality and availability of drinking water is guaranteed for the population, pursuant to European legislation.
The contract entails an investment of 21,884,500 leis (5.3 million euro) and includes the construction of 30 underground harnessing wells and their respective pipelines to the drinking water treatment plant (DWTP) and 11km of distribution networks above ground.
The DWTP has a treatment capacity of 11,000 cubic meters day, with a treatment system comprised of a physical-chemical unit, and sand filtration, chlorination and pumping of the treated water.
