Demineralized and service water from Mittelsbüren combined cycle plant
This plant serves the Mittelsbüren combined-cycle power plant, which has a nameplate capacity of 445.6 MW. The works consists of headworks on the Wesser River to supply 13,440 m3/day of utility water through lamellar settling and sand-anthracite filtration. The 480 m3/day of demineralized water used in the combined cycle process is obtained as a result of a process of ultrafiltration, two-stage reverse osmosis with cartridge pre-filtering and mixed bed resin filtration.
