Duqm Desalination Plant

"This desalination plant is part of the energy & water production complex built in the Duqm Special Economic Area, where Cobra Group is significantly active, and is currently building the first stage of the energy complex, which consists of a 183+25 MW combined-cycle power plant. The seawater desalination plant will use reverse osmosis technology and has been designed to produce 36,000 m3 of water per day for the combined cycle processes. However, the marine intake and outfall works will be built for a capacity of 150,000 m3/day, since they will also serve the needs of the new Duqm Refinery and the Petrochemical Complex in the vicinity."
