Expansion of the Bizerte wastewater treatment plant
"The plant was scaled up from its 5,000 m3/day treatment capacity using a basic lagooning technique to a capacity of 26,500 m3/day via screening pretreatment, desanding and degreasing via aeration, and activated sludge biological treatment. Sludge is dewatered via mechanical sludge dewatering. It serves a population equivalent of 200,000. "
