Improvement of drinking water supply and sewerage systems in northern Lima

"The contract consists of the rehabilitation of the sewer and drinking water network of the region called LIMA NORTE II, LOT 2, which encompasses the districts of Comas, Carabayllo, Los Olivos and San Martín de Porres of the city of Lima. The works encompass the rehabilitation of 293 km of pipes, 33,700 domestic drinking water connections and 14,300 domestic sewer connections, the installation of 850 leak pre-location systems, construction of 1,150 connections to the existing network, installation of 2,550 valves and rehabilitation of 1,900 inspection hatches. The main purpose of this project is to provide adequate drinking water and sewer services, improving the operational management until the end of the roadmap in the year 2038. The project will greatly improve the quality of life of citizens living in this area of the capital city, and will materialize as a constant supply of drinking water and improvements in the sewerage service."
