Nabeul Wastewater Treatment Plant

In May of 2013, L'Office National de l'Assainissement (ONAS) awarded Tedagua the construction of the new SE4 wastewater treatment plant of the city of Nabeul, with a treatment capacity of 17,000 m3/day. The project planned by Tedagua consists of a desanding-degreasing process, primary settling, nitrification-denitrification with removal of phosphorus and activated sludge biological treatment. The sludge line consists of mechanical sludge dewatering, anaerobic stabilization by digestion and biogas cogeneration. Odor control is performed via photoionization. The tertiary treatment of treated water for reutilization is performed via continuous filtration and UV radiation.
