Ribasaltas water treatment plant (Monforte de Lemos)

"The treatment process of the new Ribasaltas DWTP, designed for a treatment capacity of 20,000 m3/day, involves two independent lines with roughing filtration, ozone oxidation, pH adjustment, physical-chemical treatment, lamellar settling, sand and anthracite bilayer pressure filtration and final disinfection through the use of ultraviolet light and sodium hypochlorite. Auxiliary works: 3,500 m3 regulating reservoir, 300 l/s pumping station, Ø 500mm 250 meter long cast iron pumping pipeline and connection between several existing tanks. Population served: 30,000 people. "
