Taboada WWTP Submarine Outfall
"Work included in the contract for the design and construction of the Taboada wastewater treatment plant. The length of the outfall is 3,910 m (402 m on land and 3,508 m underwater) and the final discharge is outfitted with diffusion ports at a depth of 20 meters. It was built with a thermally fused (butt welded) PE 100 high-density polyethylene (HDPE) pipe with a diameter of 3,000 mm, for a peak flow of 20.3 m3/s."
