Urziceni Drinking Water Treatment Plant

"Ecoaqua, the company that manages the entire water cycle of Calarasi County (Romania), once again entrusted Tedagua with this new award. The contract consisted of the design and construction of a new water intake and the expansion and rehabilitation of the drinking water treatment plant of Urziceni, increasing its treatment capacity to 11,000 m3/day, guaranteeing the availability of quality water for the population as per European regulations. The works included the construction of 30 underground catchment wells with their corresponding pipes connecting to the plant and 11 km of distribution networks. The process consists of a physical-chemical treatment, in addition to sand filtration, chlorination and pumping of treated water."
