Pretreatment technologies applied in the Escombreras Seawater Desalination Facility

The Escombreras Desalination Plant has the most stringent treatment system of any plant built to date, which has turned it into a world benchmark in regard to processes and supply reliability. The peak production capacity of the plant is currently 63,000 m3/day, with room for a future expansion to 72,000 m3/day by installing an extra line.
