The Tedagua and DRACE medioambiente (Tedra Australia Pty, Ltd.) Spanish companies have built, and will operate for the next five years, the water recycling station of the Altona treatment plant, located in the city of Melbourne (Australia). This new tertiary treatment plant makes use ultrafiltration and reverse osmosis technologies with the purpose of recycling all of the effluent available at the Altona WWTP to produce two classes of recycled water: 3100 m3/day for irrigation and 5900m3/day for industrial applications.
