The BIM methodology at the center of the digitization of the water sector
- Published in iAgua in October 2022.
Tedagua has been considering BIM for years as a primary working method in our projects. It is our basis for production, which provides us with the guarantee that the different participants in each project are designing, planning, buying, manufacturing, building, starting up and operating in a coherent, accurate and efficient manner.
This year the company has achieved certification in Information Management by using BIM according to the ISO 19650 1/2 standard, where it has been certified with the function of "Principal Awardee" in the "Design" and "Asset Development" phases, being one of the first in the sector to be certified under that function.
All of this is framed within the strategy undertaken to lead the innovation and digitization of the water sector. The BIM methodology is a solid base on which to build new technologies (digital twins, virtual reality, Big Data...) in the short-medium term, in which it is expected that they will be carried out in the set of services offered by the company.
