La joint venture between Tedagua and MP Mediambiente has built a water treatment plant to supply utility water and demineralized water to the Valle 1 and 2 concentrated solar power plants. This is a unique plant designed with two lines that have the capacity to produce 100% of the water required for each of them. The pretreatment plant has a utility water production capacity of 13,440 m3/day plus 1,200 m3/day of demineralized water. The water product is pumped to each of the power plants by the corresponding pumping equipment.
