Singapore’s Secretary of the Environment and Water Resources visits Tedagua’s booth during Singapore International Water Week 2016
The highlight of Tedagua's participation in Singapore International Water Week (SIWW) was the visit of the Singapore Permanent Secretary of the Environment and Water Resources, Mr. Choi Shing Kwok, to Tedagua's booth. While at Tedagua's booth, Mr. Choi learned about the role of Tedagua in the design and construction of what is currently the largest water project in Singapore: Tuas Desalination Plant 3. Mr. Choi also showed interest about TEDAGUA's plans in relation to its continued presence in Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region.
Tedagua's booth in SIWW welcomed scores of visitors who were given a firsthand overview of its many concession, EPC and O&M water infrastructure contracts across the globe. It was a great opportunity to inform global industry leaders about the factors that led Tedagua to be a major player in the development of TDP3.
Tuas Desalination Plant 3, located in western Singapore, will have a water production capacity of 136,000 m3/day and Tedagua was tasked with engineering the design of the plant's process as well as with key aspects of its construction and commissioning.
